  1. I really enjoyed this presentation. The way Frank Lloyd Wright went about his idea of architecture was very iconic. His creations seemed unusual, but at the same time very cool. I thought it was cool that everyone thought the Imperial Hotel would not be a strong structure but ended up being very sturdy.

  2. Wright was amazing for his creations during the time period that he lived in. What was the most interesting about this was the style that he created. It was genius how he opened up the floor plan of the house. I don't know how to imagine houses today if he had not been an iconic influence in housing design. I loved the model that was created. It really showed and made his creations real. Along with this model, the pictures of his houses were so clear. I felt like I was standing right in front of them. I definitely want to go and visit some of his houses. I felt as though I learned something about someone that I really didn't know had influenced our lives today so much!

  3. I loved your visual aid. It looked like it took a lot of time and it was very nice. I think the most interesting thing was that he was known for such beautiful houses, but he was also known for his family problems. I didn't know that. Good job!

  4. There was so much about him that I did not know and I really want to go and see one of his houses now. You provided a lot of information in an informative and exciting way that does not make him seem like just an architect, but the icon he really is. It is sad that he had so many affairs and that ended his career. But great job and such a wonderful model to show visually what it would look like.

  5. I knew who Frank Lloyd Wright was before but I didn't know how much of an influence he was to modern architects. I believe the house that the Cullen vampires lived in in the movie Twilight was one of his creations but I could be wrong; if it's not it definitely looks like it could be one of his. I think his buildings are very pretty and being an architect would be pretty cool. Your presentation was very organized and concise, I enjoyed listening to it.

  6. Frank Llyod Wright was an architect. He designed over 500 building, 409 still stand today. He built houses with great design and shapes. He influenced the idea of more space in houses and buildings. The style of Amanda and Kevin's presentation was focused on pictures and visual aids. They did a great job using the examples to show how iconic Wright was to the world.

  7. I think that the images chosen to reinforce the points on why he was iconic was really good, and helped us to better understand.
Your visual aid was unique, and did well to set you guys apart from the rest.

  8. I love the pictures they are very interesting. I also like that you engaged the audience by asking us a question of whether we have seen these houses before. I understood that the models were influential because of the openness and represented "individualism and freedom".

  9. Your model of the building he created set you really apart from the other groups. I think having a physical visual aid gave people a whole new understanding of how his buildings looked. I found it interesting that, like Jackson, unfortunately his personal life hindered some aspects of his career. The fact that he had 3 affairs really hindered his chances at having more clients.

    1. I found this presentation very interesting because I do not know much about architecture. I find it neat that he came up with the "open" space idea that we still use today. Great use of the model that you passed around. It really allowed us to see what his style was like.

  11. I think you guys did a great job describing the types of homes he designed. I had never heard of him until your presentation, but I feel like I actually know some about him now and am interested in seeing something of his one day. I think you did a great job with your model. I am a very visual person so that helped me get an idea of what his works looked like.

  12. I felt you guys as a group really knew your material and as it showed that it was well rehearsed. The model that was passed around showed alot of hard work and effort put into it. You guys placed the perfect amount of fats and information as well as pictures into your slides.

  13. I really enjoyed this presentation, it was filled with stunning visuals and great facts to back them up. I hadn't known that the Guggenheim Museum was built by him, I have always thought that it was a spectacular piece of architecture. I liked the different facts that you shared about each structure like how the Tokyo Imperial Hotel didn't budge during an earthquake. Great job, it's difficult to go first!
