I like the opening with a video, this gave a taste of some of Spielberg work. I also liked the fact that you brought out the idea that through movies we can can imagine possibilities, such as E.T. or Jurassic Park

Okay I have got to say, one of my favorite films by him was Jurassic Park. i think i heard somewhere that they are actually talking about making another one.You guys did an awesome job, had a lot of different content and i enjoyed the short video. I liked the style of the slides and the way you guys had it all set up.
I thought the trivia handout was pretty neat addition to your presentation. It wasn't the traditional handout. Just as well, I found it very interesting that Jaws was not expected to be a huge hit, yet it really was. Also that Spielberg was a college dropout was very interesting.
The information given was very interesting. I thought it was neat that he was a college dropout and yet he went on to make a great career for himself. It was awesome that he was so passionate about making movies and that he was able to be so successful. I thought you guys did a great job of using a video at the beginning and you had a great use of the powerpoint slides along with teaching it.
I thought it was interesting that even at a young age while filming family outings he started experimenting with camera angles. I learned that he was the influence for the PG-13 rating, and he is very much the father of the "Blockbuster" movies. I enjoyed the movie clip but I think I would have liked a montage of his movies instead of just one.
As some of the others have mentioned I felt opening up with a video was a really nice way to start. I also had felt that we as teh audience heard more about the plot of the movies instead of Spielberg and himself. I really appreciated all of the facts mentioned, you guys really made it clear as to why he was influential.
You both made it very clear why he is an icon to so many Americans. It is good to know more about the man who has changed lives just through films
This was a really cool presentation and I liked how you guys began it with a video clip, it really helped to show us how much of an influence he had in film making and how advance it was for the times that some of his movies were made. The trivia fun fact sheet that was passed out was also a really good idea and helped us to connect more to the presentation.
I really liked this presentation. I thought it was cool that you started off with a famous movie clip of his. Spielburg really is an amazing director and will continue to be famous for all his films. I didnt know that he started filming at the age of twelve, that was a really cool fact.
The thing i liked most about your presentation was the trivia you handed out. I think it got us to remember the small facts more and made it more fun. I found it very interesting how you explained how he effected the society, and how he led to more ideas and inventions with movies.
Spielberg was an iconic director and still is today. He directed many great movies like Titanic, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, etc. He had great influence on special effects in great movies like the Lord of The Rings. The presentation was very good. The handout/trivia kept me interested in the presentation and you guys did a great job explaining why he is such an iconic director.
What an amazing character. Life would not be the same with Spielberg. The thing that amazed me the most was that he started filming at age 12. This does not seem possible but is definitely something worth mentioning. It really shows that he was meant to film. The clip that was shown helped me to grasp how influential of a person on the movie industry Spielberg really is. I hope he continues to create some great memorable movies for many years to come!!
This was a great presentation. It was a great idea to hand out the trivia, that was nice. I found it interesting how he started out so young, I'm glad you told us about that. Good job!
-The presentation really made me realize how many films that Steven Spielberg has filmed. Also how influential he has been on film making within the past thirty years. And how his movies have had effects on society, such as Jaws and E.T.-Good use of a video, but it seemed to only target just a sliver of all of his successful films.
The photo from Schindlers List is my favorite becasue the red coat was the only color in the entire film! But any ways, I learned alot about Steven Spielberg and he created a lot more of my favorite films than I realized so that must make him an important person in my life too. The Titanic is being remade this spring and I think that shows a true masterpiece becuase it can be remade into 3D and people will pay to see it over and over again which is how a lot of films are. The video clip madeyour presentation stand out from others and got everyone excited to see what you were going to teach us. I wish I could drop out of college and be worth 3.0 billion dollars. Great job!
Good intro with the video. I never knew how many videos he actually directed. I also liked that your handout was unique.
I thought it was interesting that Spielberg started filming when he was only 12. He had so much imagination, which you can see in all his films. I didn't know that he influenced the pg-13 rating. I thought that the worksheet was a good supplement to the presentation to insure that people were paying attention.
Really good presentation:) I also did not know he sarted at age 12 no wonder he is so good. I love his movies and thought you covered his impact really well!
I like how you made the handout a trivia sheet instead of just giving us some notes. I thought it was interesting that he played a part in making the PG-13 rating. Nice slideshow.
