  1. I thought you had a really great beginning and attention grabber, as well as great facts. I thought you couldve worked on your fluency in your speech and you restated information a couple of times. You had also read from your slide which Mike said not to do. Overall I feel you guys did a really good job.

  2. It was really interesting to know that he was a part of Jackson 5. I didn't know he had siblings or was in a band with them at all. I agree that his most famous song would haven been Thriller, every one knows about it. All of his allegations and surgeries made him really creepy and I wondered why anyone would alter their face so much that you look almost inhuman. Very good presentation! It was informative.

    1. I thought this presentation had a lot of great positive and negative facts about Jackson. He was really a great musician and showed a lot of style in every performance he did. It sad that he wasn't happy with his appearance, because he was a great musician!

    2. Started in the business at 5! Definitely the most iconic pop star of our time, despite his personal scandals. The slides were great, would a video of Thriller been to cliche? I still would have liked to have seen it.

  4. I liked how you actually read into the lyrics of "black and white" and related it to why you thought he went white. The style of emotion you put into your speeches was good, it made it easy to pay attention

  5. I think you included some pretty good pictures with your presentation, as well as how you read the lyrics from "Black and White" to give us physical proof as to why you think Michael wanted to be white. It is a shame how poor life choices shadowed his successful career.

  6. You guys did a very good job with your presentation. You didn't bore me, which was good. Your information was really interesting and I learned stuff I didn't know, like that he started singing at age five. Your power point was nicely made and didn't have too many words.

  7. The handout you gave out was very good because it gave an outline of the entire presentation. We can look at the handout and remember everything that was said. The set up was very good when explaining his childhood, career, and his afterlife.

    1. Personally I love Micheal Jackson and his artistic work in music, film and dance. You mentioned all these and I thought your presentation did a really good job of honoring him for it. Not sticking his accusations in our faces was great and you pointed out that he was found innocent, not that this is necessarily proving anything either way, but I liked that you said this and overall I liked your style of the presentation and thought it went very smoothly.

  8. He is the ultimate icon in my opinion because even with the negative things that happened to him, he is still remembered in a positive way. His style was unique and I agree that he could take something simple and make it seem so fancy and everyone had to have it. Your presentation was very smooth and well researched topic.

    1. Great way to start out with confidence and to really get us interested! I thought that your organization and lay out helped to keep us all on the same page and a great way to teach the information. I find also find that he made his own type of fashion and that it really stuck with him and that he was known for wearing such things such as the leather clothes and the hat. Great presentation!

    2. He the ultimate icon. even though there are some negative things said about him, he is still remembered in a positive way. If you think about it, he has even influenced a lot of current music artists, such as Chris Brown and i think Rihanna as well. I am pretty sure that some current artists have taken some his songs and tweeked them and changed them up a bit. I loved the content. 9 years old and youngest singer to sign with a company. That is very impressive. I am pretty sure even 20 years from now, he will still be remembered.

  9. Ohh man, I love Michael Jackson. He was such an influential person not only to adults, but to children as well. His voice was so unique and remarkable. It is sad that he had to get into the surgeries and drugs because he could still be producing today, but he will definitely be remembered for what he was.

  10. I understood from your presentation that Jackson had most influenced fashion, music, and dance. You have interesting visual aids on the power point explaining Jackson's story and why he was iconic through the media and that made him even more famous today.

  11. -I learned quite a bit more information from your guys' presentation about Michael Jackson, such as that he was the youngest person to have a number 1 hit on the US charts.

  12. I liked how you showed both a good and the bad side the Michael Jackson was known for. I hadn't thought too hard about how much influence he had on clothing and appearance. He truly was an icon for generations of music. Great job!

  13. I was shocked to learn that Michael Jackson started singing at the age of 5 when he joined the Jackson 5 with his brothers. Although I knew how big of an influence he was on pop culture I didn't know he was the youngest person to have a number one hit in the US. The group did a good job of covering his life and what he did to influence pop culture.
